This casebook includes good cases for the improvement of efficiency in equipment management and utilization and poor cases in which advanced, high-price research facilities and equipment are not properly utilized through a survey on the current research facilities and equipment in 2013. Categories were classified by case. The organizations exemplifying a good case include the Korea Railroad Research Institute, Sungkyunkwan University, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, and Hongcheon Institute of Medicinal Herb (HIMH).
