  • Overview
    This report summarized the results of the comparative survey conducted by R&D Strategy Center of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) in order to determine the international level of analytical science technology. Based on the latest trends emphasized by international associations, survey items were chosen in the following seven fields: ‘Separation and Purification Method,’ ‘Structural Analysis,’ ‘Sensor and Detection,’ ‘Imaging,’ ‘Reagent and Probe’ and ‘Composite Analysis.’ The survey was conducted within the U.S., Europe, Japan, China and Korea. Comparative assessment and technology comparisons were performed in terms of ‘Research Level,’ ‘Level of Technology Development’, and ‘Industrial Technology.’
