- Objectives
- To realize the advancement of the research F&E operation and management system by investigating the current status and difficulties of research institutes and reflecting them in policy after conducting the following surveys: survey of the current management of national research F&E for research institutes having these research F&E based on cooperation with related bureaus; survey of the current management of operating personnel for national research F&E; survey of current national large research F&E.

- (Research F&E) Annual survey on the current status of the operating and management systems for the research institutes having research F&E such as equipment review/registration/utilization/disposal
- (Large research facilities) Annual survey of the current status of the operation and management of larger research facilities (KRW 5 billion or more) throughout the life cycle such as construction, operation, utilization and disposal
- (Equipment engineers) Periodic survey of current research equipment engineers (equipment operation/repair/development) such as current employment by job and equipment classification, demand for employment, treatment and role
- Determining issues to be improved and reflecting them in policy planning by listening to difficulties in the operation and management of research F&E from a researcher or research institute and reflecting them and their opinions for improvement
- Continuous management of major indicators by submitting the survey results and improvement method to the National Science & Technology Council
