  • Overview
    This report is published to introduce why we need analytical science and emphasize the necessities of the following: mid & long-term development strategy of analytical science, government-led support policy for research equipment manufacturers, development of a cooperative system between researchers and equipment manufacturers and personnel development. In addition, it covers cases regarding the definition and scope of analytical science and reviews major trends of analytical science in advanced countries such as the U.S. and Germany. This report also mentions many Nobel Prize winners in analytical science (91 winners including Albert Einstein) among sciences. Lastly, it makes six policy recommendations for the development of analytical science and stresses again the importance of analytical science for national development.
