The 2014 Fact Finding Survey Report on the Large Scale Research Facilities of Korea has been implemented for the purpose of preparing effective management system and improvement plan after identifying status by each stage on the entire cycle of large scale research facilities that are set up as national R&D program.

This will be utilized as materials for setting up the policies to prepare the large research facility management system on the national level and prepare investment efficiency or sharing promotion plan based on the result of fact finding survey.

The investigation subjects of the fact finding survey conducted in 2014 are 138 large scale research facilities and 63 institutes of 5 billion won or more that are set up as national R&D program while the field investigation has been performed after the document investigation based on the organic cooperation with relevant ministries (ministry-wide consultative body on the research equipment).
