BRAIN, Bright Research And Infrastructure Network for providing research facilities & equipment related search

BRAIN(Brain Research And Infrastructure Network) is a service to connect the three essential factors (research project, researcher and research equipment) of Research & Development (R&D) as one.

It provides a database related to the national R&D program performed since 2005 until now as a form of 'research-equipment network' and this network which is entangled like a net shows the interrelationship between researches and equipment a little more effectively.

It also offers an intelligent search function of providing the desired information by automatically distinguishing the keyword entered by the user. If you click the icon on the 'Research-Equipment Network' displayed through keyword search and follow along, you can get a grasp on the equipment information, model information, project information, program information, agency information and personal information, etc. related to the keyword.

Currently, an enormous amount of database is set up in BRAIN including thesis information and patent information in addition to the equipment information on 54,868 units, the model information on 32,844 types, the project information on 23,947 projects, the program information on 1,835 cases, the 7,317 pieces of agency information and the personal information on 106,820 researchers & users while these various types of related information are inquired as a form of network.

In addition, the three factors of R&D are analyzed according to 5 W's and 1H to be provided as various methods (graphs or keyword clouds, etc.) and a function for continuous inquiry of information by inserting a link containing another information inside the output information has been implemented.
